I am powering the drivers with zapco reference series amps...1000.1 for the sub and 360.4 bridged to 2 channels at 180 a piece...and that is it..basic, simple little system...in the front location i have the 8 inch mid bass drivers..and the rest of the mid and tweeters are in the kick panels.

awesome equipment for sure. i'm a little surprised you chose to not supplement it with something a little higher, but i'm sure it sounds amazing just the same. i hate the staging in the new xb and have seriously considered adding a small component set in the kicks as well. i imagine fabrication wouldn't be that difficult either since it would be covered in a fabric of some sort so i wouldn't have to worry about a oem finish since the fabric would cover up any mistakes i could make.

great job and props on getting 8's in the doors. that's something i've wanted to do as well.

what crossover are you using to tie it all together?

I don't have any external active crossovers...i am using the dynaudio passive crossover and the cross overs on the zapco amps....and pretty much that is it....like i said, this is a small system to keep me happy for my Xb. enough for now to get me through until i get another toy!...hmmmm?

"small budget" you have some nice equipment there. Id hate to see what a expensive system would be. anything setup for subs?

im not much of a bass person so i didn't spend too much money on the bass side of the system....i am using a JL audio stealthbox with a 1000.1 zapco amp turned all the way down with a symbilink set at 0 dbs.
