So i was drivin to school this morning, kind of a crappy day, dark and drizzling outside. I'm on a 4 lane road going about 40-45 mph with no one in front of me but a group of cars behind me. I look to my left and i see a deer about to walk right in front of my car so i slam on my brakes and swurve to my left a little and see three more deer runnin out. One ran in front of my car, which i hit with my passanger side, and another ran directly into my car. It hit right behind my door in the back quarterpanel, scared the S*** out of me! So i pull over and checked the damage and the front is completely fine, my grill is dented in a little but i can pop it back out, so i think im in good shape. i walk back to my driver side and see this...

DAMN

lol SATown that pic is hilarious.... but i called my insurance just waitin on them to get back to me to see what i gotta pay and do. Luckily its just the back quarterpanel and not the door or anything. My bumper is a little bent by the hood but not noticeable. My grill was bent and snapped off but i fixed that already.

i think id rather have it be my door, at least you can just replace a door.. the quarter panel you gotta cut out and weld on a new one right?

or i guess they could try to just pop it back out

deer repelling is one of the few great advantages of my epically loud exhaust set up on my tc. if i ever see them, i just shift to neutral and rev it and they just go running the other way.

anyway, sucks when it happens, btw, op, when you see a deer, you should try to stop the car as soon as possible, and honk the horn, do not try to swerve because you might confuse the deer should it try to get out of your way, or lose control of the car and make the accident even worse.

Terrible spot to get hit in indeed, but lol @ a deer running into you. Would've sucked worse if he smashed his head through the little window while you were driving, and got decapitated.

:X

On a side note, I thought your sn was happychick for some reason. I was like "uhoh, she smashed into a poor deer"

Did you at least get out and beat the deer with your tire iron? If a deer hits my car and doesn't die, it damn well better expect that I'll finish the job.
