What do you think?
I did a lot of research before I got this bike and I am very pleased with my purchase. Its very easy to control and the power comes on really smooth, and when I am ready it has all the power I would want or need.....
teamben158 04-07-2009, 09:00 PM Hope you bought a helmet...
...and extra life insurance with it.
Good luck.

I agree it is , but I am 6'4" and about 270 the smaller sport bikes made me look like a grasshopper on a reed. and from the research I did the 08 model of this bike was very doable for a newbie.
specifically said in this article below. One of many I read about it.

as qeird as it sounds i will give the LARGE bikes this their power is actually a bit easier to control than the 600's or even most 1000's as they're very touchy .
the larger bikes have more grunt from below and a slightly more linear powerband cmpared to the turbolag/vtech/slingshot feeling that most 600's and 1000's have .
it is still a helluva a bike . and with that comes the bit more cumbersome act of parking lot maneuvers .
glad you got your cert . and by safety test i'm assuming you took an msf ? if so great!
they're awesome . I didn't take one (should have) but i have been riding for years and the rainy season coupled with my license expiring on my birthday i just took the skills test on a nice day last november.

actually ....
it is pretty large for a sportbike so i'd say huge is a fact
ugly well that's my opinion so i stand by it whether it's a popular one or not
and the sky high insurance rates also a fact .
only thing keeping them not WAY high is the value of the bike compared to say a 1098 duc which would cost more .
but remember guys this is a 180hpish (if i remember correctly) superbike that is capable of just about if not just over 200mph.
