This is New Tyota Scion Genuine Pedestal Spoiler on my tC.

I installed spoiler last week and look good to me!
I think style is better than Picture.




Once you install Pedestal Spoiler, you need "Pedestal Spoiler install kit"

not my taste, i personally thing this car would look much better with a lip spoiler

Agreed with twoface, a lip spoiler would be more suited for the lines of this car.

What's involved in the self install? Difficult, easy?

I am stuck 50/50 of getting either the Lip or the Pedestal. They both look equally great. At times the pedestal seems larger than neccesary, while the lip spoiler seems like it's not enough. Anyways, props, pics look great!! :clap:

installation is not hard
but it cannot be easy depends on skill.

Here is 5 steps of installation.


1) Trim Panel Removal.
2) Gas Lift Strut Replacement.
3) Hole Drilling
4) Attaching the Spoiler to the Lift Gate.
5) Reassemble the Vehicle.

I think that would look really nice with the Ground effects

i think it looks great ... i just bought the pedestal spoiler from trdsparks.com and im gettin it in a little over a week ... its goin on a BCP TC ... if i can get a camera i will put up pics .. im putting the front lip on from the ground FX kit .. and gettin a TRD muffler .. so hopefully all that together would make the car look nice .. also plan on lowerin the car 1.25 - 1.50 inches ..

I think it depends on what look youre going for, the pedestal is a more sporty look, while the lip spoiler is a classier/smoother look. I choose lip spoiler because the pedestal one didnt seem right for the body lines, while the lip one flowed

i just had the pedestal spoiler installed ... the thing looks sick ... it goes great with the body lines .. cant wait to do the other mods i was talkin about ... and btw .. i was able to get it installed for 40 bucks at a small body shop next door to where i work and i didnt have the stock struts replaced and ya dont need them... so dont bother replacing them ...

I hate the pedestal, its so ugly. personalyy i like the tc with no spoiler or lip.
