i like both of these exhaust but cant set on one. anyone have either and like or not like them?

i think i have an idea how the agency sounds via youtube, but every video i watch of the tanabe sounds different.

 

Well the agency power is a catback while the tanabe is a axle back. I have the tanabe and I love it. Has a nice deep sound to it and it sits straight. I don't really like the angled exhausts like the agency.

 

i had the tanabe concept g version it was nice but little quite for me agenacy power is really nice and loud but very expensive i have the megans drift spec which sounds just like the agency catback but cheaper..depends on how loud you want the exhaust

i like that sound, and i know the agencys loud. all of the youtube videos show it.

i found a used agency catback on here for sale for 400+ shipping.

a new tanabe is 380

 

yea that is pretty much what it sounds like. I love it, nobody has complained about the sound.

 

yup that sums it up sounds like a WRX......its a good exhaust...i had it for like 2 months enjoyed it.....wanted something different sold it good the megans drift spec which is also nice i like how its angles it give the car and more aggressive look.


these so many good exhaust out there just hard to pick one out that fits your needs

 

i know right! i dont want something too loud. the megans loud like the agency, and the tanabe is quiet. i like the angle look rather than the straight. it sucks the tanabe is straight.

 

yea alot of the really good quiet ones does not come angled only HKS..megans and agency and there all loud ones..

Im sure you can buy the muffler itself and have custom piping and have them angle it for you thats what some people do.....but the bad thing about that is if you wanna change it you cant your stuck with that unless you have it change again or if you have custom flanges made to bolt up to the piping that i havent seen but i know there sell them but that have everything custom to what you prefer alot of work

 

get tanabe. hands down

 

i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee my agency lol, and yes honestly it rumbles like a wrx although not anymore cause i put the header on yesturday. but def worth it.
