Default So i got my car back! but paint overspray

So i got my car back last week, and waited a week before washing and clay and everything, i was happy the side repainted was smooth as glass, as i clayed, some parts of the car were smooth also but some spots with the clay bar would not make it smooth, so im thinking the guy didnt cover the other side of my car when he clear coated...sooo

how would i remove the over spray? it feels rough but u cant see it and its not over the entire car...

i cant go back to the guy because we got into an argument so he would mess it up more...if anything i would pay a detailer to do this if any of you want to make extra money

Thanks!

You clayed it and it's still there? Clay bar usually takes care of that quite easily. Try to hit it again, and if doesn't work, take it back to the shop.

I doubt he would mess it up more on purpose if you got into an argument with him. Just tell him he got overspray and if he could fix it.

I was in a similar situation recently. I had some body work + painting done to my car. When I got home, I noticed there was some kind of solution that dried up on the back of my car. There was some on the back window and my pedestal spoiler.

It was a biotch to clean up around the spoiler, but I did it with the clay bar. It took a lot of scrubbing with the bar (a few minutes worth), but it did come off. Perhaps give it a second try?

^ Sooner would be better, as it'll be easier to remove if you do it before it has time to fully cure. The longer you wait, the more time it has to adhere to the underlying paint.
