Default REVOLUSCION CHARITY CAR WASH Pics

Well I know know one will post a thread since I still have the pics and they are up on my site. I am so busy right now so I will post what I can and get back to my crazy final exams.

Great event. Good to see a real person that needs help get help I was happy I was asked to cover the event and glad to help out for a good cause.

This Car Wash is in support to Vanessa Cruz a 12 yr old girl that is now hospitalize and needs our help to buy a wig. Just a WARNING this was a community event. So lots of families came out and cars of all shapes, sizes and well other stuff So not as many Scions and people but people outside our little culture

By the way I bought this car at this dealership Fitting it should be displayed in the front door. They sold an xA that day as well

Vanessa Cruz herself

The guy on the right sold me my xA

lol I won something with donated raffle tickets.

Once again thanks for asking me to cover the event. It was great to take the time to do it and for a great cause. I hope Automundo.com gets these soon as well so all the people I told to look at the site for pics can see them.

lol I made allot of mistakes technically and always do. Oh well. You hit it on the target though technically and to be frank one of my issues. I do not have allot of experience using flash in an uncontrolled environment. I love set up and studio lighting. These photos were fine though for what they were. No need to be perfect with them really. I think most will enjoy the coverage and move on.

However now I am gonna be allot more thoughtful about this when in such a high contrast of light like this place was. We were under the highway allot as well.

Nope technically not the best photos for us Photog's. Believe me I am more critical on myself than anyone here. But every time I use my camera I learn from the experience. I actually need to start learning Fill Flash cause I did not and do not usually think to even try it even though I know it exists as a technique.

I do however think there are aspects of this set that are great and it was a charity show. I wanted to do my part and glad I did. I would say being in school and using the digital like once every few weeks has really effected me. The world between film and digital is so broad. Broader than I ever thought until recently. Been a bit distracted by the long hrs at school and in a dark room again. Hrs of printing and analog re-touching, dodging, burning. I do 12hrs on campus no problem. So when I do an event it's not like it was 4 months ago.

To me I feel guilty shooting with my Canon 5D now. I am certainly not focused where the digital is concerned atm. Hehe well well my last Finals are Friday and I have three weeks to unlearn everything before the next term Smile Well not everything but at least use the 5D more.

By the way it's 6:15 am and I am just finishing up some work for my last final on Friday 2pm. Still have to Print/cut and Bind the book.
