Well their previous header was selling for 299 i believe. I just wonder why TC Tunerz dosent provide additional information on the Dyno run. Things like tranny type exhaust configuration and so on.
The car is automatic. Thats why the torque is so low. Its all stock also. The hp isnt really that low for an automatic. Some 5speed tC's are putting down those numbers. Before they dynoed with an open intake box (no filter) and the header. They posted about it.
I want to know what this header sounds like with the TRD exhaust!!!!!
The header is now $264, but I dont know if its the new header.

Hmm, for a header with a cat in it (assuming that it will be legal becuase of that,) that's actually a decent performance bump. Would definitely be interested in seeing some numbers with an intake and exhaust added to the mix.
I've seen dynos for other autos that are still way higher than their numbers. Shouldn't drivetrain loss be consistent for both torque and hp? They're showing a 19% loss in HP (perfectly feasible) but a 25% loss in torque which doesn't make much sense to me.

Id say those are great numbers for an automatic. The torque does seema bit low.....
Those gains are great for a carb legal header. Well Im sure the header needs some test. Ohh, if some of you are wondering the header is made by Megan Racing.

I got an auto im really concidering that header but in about 3 months, for now let them R&D it some more. Megan is a good company as far as exhaust im getting the injen axleback its a straight through design sounds good and with a removed resonator and second cat i think it will offer good gains even with the stock pipe. Now if only some company released a good intake with reasonable unequivocal gains 10hp 10ftlbs or more. That would be sweet. :D
Do not put a full intake on an automatic tC. I had the K&N on my moms car and when removing that black box on the intake tube it removes low end power. Thats something you dont want to take away from an automatic.
I put the stock airbox back on my moms car and my god the difference is night and day. Although the car did pull hard up top with the intake I just cant sacrafice that low end power. Thats what gets the autos moving.

Lol i know ray ive been following your posts. It seems you do lose torque with all the current intakes but im sure eventually one will be made where there will be gain through out the powerband. All the inatkes for this vehicle you gain up top lose down low. I am getting exhaust for sure its just hard deciding right now with the lack of real quality catbacks. I wish we had a V2 with the kind of gains thet can be acquired on the civic SI 18 hp and 17 tq with nothing but intake thats really nice.
