H4, 9007 Bi-Xenon Integrated Digital Ballast HID Kit ( 2 ballast + 2 BiXenon HID bulb + Wire Harness)

Don't know if this ur question was intended for me, but figured should answer anyway.
Just last Friday I installed a H4 Bi-Xenon on my friend's 93 RX-7 he brought Thursday.
I've sold 9007 Bi-Xenon for F150 trucks.

I was curious how the one ballast controls the bulbs since I'm guessing the wattage needed changes from low to high and is the reason most vendors sell the bi-xenon with two ballasts.

Your kit is extremely tempting.........

I'm sorry if I've confused you. Our automobile HID kit it comes with 2x Ballasts, 2x HID bulbs, 2x wire harnesses, and securing accessories. If you go to the first page I've included a picture on what's included in our automobile HID conversion kits.

For some cars Bi-Xenon will require relay. It's best to tell us prior ordering on what car the Bi-Xenon is intended for. This way I can tell you in advance what additional accessories you'll need.
For most Japanese cars relay or resistor wires are not required.

Yes, our HID conversion comes with everything you'll need. 2x ballast, 2x HID bulb, 2 wire harness, and securing accessories.
It's plug and play. Basically first remove your stock bulb and disconnect the connection from car to the factory bulb.
Then install our HID bulb, and connect the HID bulb to the ballast.
Next, connect one end of our wire harness to the factory connector and the other end to our ballast.
Last, conceal the excess wiring.
Our kits comes with instructions. Should you still have question during installation you can call me at 860-821-8212 ask for WIL. I'll walk you through the installation.

Thanks,
WIL

Maybe I can help you decide. 5000K is White with lite tint of yellow and 6000K is White with lite tint of blue.
Personally I would go with the 6000K, because I like to have a lite blue and it's still a white look.

We either use UPS or USPS. Your package was shipped by USPS, and USPS has a really poor tracking system. But I assure you your package was shipped today and shipping time is 3~4days.

When is a relay required for a hid kit?

First, relay's purpose is to supply enough power to the ballast to ignite the HID bulbs. This applies mostly for older cars, weak car batteries, and also old electrical stock wiring.
Second, is to by pass the computer the current cars have. Current cars are now mainly controlled by computer chips. Different car manufactures will have difference effects with HID is installed. I have seen more issues with the American cars. Japanese and European have less of an issue compared to American cars.

Yes, our HID kits are plug and play. Any HID that's not factory will be consider illegal due to DOT approvals.
In CA state will depend on the bulb temperature (color) you install. Staying within 5000K, 6000K, and 8000K will be much safe and are less likely to attract unwanted attentions from the PD.

You must have the wires connected incorrectly, because they would come on within 2 seconds.

9006 is for the 05-07 headlights. If i'm right you need the H11 for your low beam. High beam is still 9005.

We will ship the orders only if we've confirmed the payment is received.

You need either the single xenon H4 kit or the bi-xenon H4 kit. The bi-xenon bulbs moves for high beam and the single has a halogen high beam. I've had a 6k HID kit for 2 years and never "needed" high beams.

I am a noob and found this awesome deal my first day checking out the forums. Anyway I am thoroughly impressed with the quick turn around for the sales process. I placed my order early Friday afternoon and received my order Monday afternoon via USPS. I didn't know that USPS could even ship that quickly especially since shipped out of CA and I live in TN.

Plan on installing tomorrow, but wanted to commend HIDXTRA for the great Customer Service.

Has anyone tried these on an xD and if so what do we order? H4?

I have sold quite a few H4 kits to scionlife.com members.
H4 is your headlights. We have two types of H4:
Type A: H4 Hi/Lo - Low beam on HID, High beam on halogen bulb. Both bulbs come in our kit. Cost is $60
Type B: H4 Bi-Xenon - Both low and high beam on one HID bulb. HID bulb moves up for high beam and down for low beam. Cost is $90.

Do you have any video of the switching from low and high beam for both kits? Curious what kind of time it takes for the headlight to switch.

No, it's not weird. I've been here for awhile, I attend many car shows. I have personally said my girlfriend has purchased the same ones from this seller over 2-3 months ago, and zero problems. Excellent service, it's great that you want to make review, because this person is excellent!

do you have 4300K? i hear they throw out the most light i need H11 bulbs btw...

You would be best to go with the 5,000K bulbs. The sun is just over 5,000K (5,300ish, I think) so you will be getting the most light from the 5,000K. Anything higher you start loosing light output and anything lower is just lower power.

That is my two-cents worth on that.

actually 4,300K is the most output. that's why dealers have them in projector ready headlights.

ProjectGreen
05-01-2009, 05:09 PM
I take that back, I did some quick fact checking and the sun is actually only 4100K. For some reason I remember it as being higher than that.

So then yes, the 4300K is where to go.

ecko04
05-01-2009, 05:31 PM
The closest to pure white that you get in cool white light in kelvin temp is 5000K. 5000K also outputs the most light. This is closer to OEM temps.

4300K is about the color of halogen light, warmer white with a tint of yellow.

3000K is yellow

6000K will have a slight bluish tint to it, slightly above OEM.

Anything higher is simply absurd for driving.

Headlamp housing also matters, projector style housing usually adds a little blue in the 5000K that blue is magnified in the 6000K.

It is plug and play for majority of the cars. All scion cars are plug and play. But for your WRX it'll depend on the mood its in. To be honest it's a 50/50 chance. As promised give our kit a try and call me when issues occur. I'll try to solve it or offer you a refund.

Could anyone show me 5000K HID kits from HIDExtra please? Im kind of curious on what it looks like cause on the site it says 5000K is OEM but i thought 4300K was OEM?

Let me order the kit and I'll post pics as soon everything is installed. =)

How much extra is the relay harness?

Relay will be $10 extra.
For now PM me the following info so I can send you an invoice. Or just process it online and I'll refund you the difference for the relay.

1) Paypal account (email)
2) Year/Make/Model
3) Bulb Size
4) Bulb Color
5) Qty

If purchasing online please remember to use the coupon code "scionsp-w" to receive the discount for your HID kit.

Due to WRX has DRL (day time running lights) this sometimes will cause the the HID lights not functioning properly. It's recommended to purchase a relay if you have WRX.

8000K would have less visibility compared to 6000K due to the blue lights don't bounce back as compared to white. Best visible lights are yellow. That's why best preferred fog light are yellow.

No need to unplug the battery. Just make sure you are standing on dry grounds. Just kidding.
Make sure you engine is off and remove the key. Don't worry, I install many HID in my friends car and never go electric shocks, just static shocks. LOL..

This is def. a great deal. I ordered over a week ago and received the HIDs like 3 days later. Everything comes as expected and install is pretty straight forward. I first changed only one side and left the other stock bulb to see what's the difference at night. and there is a huge difference. the oem is so dim and yellow compared to the HID (I have the 6000K) which is so much whitier and really lit up whatever is on the front of the car.

anyways, 2 thumbs up. :)

the only thing better than this would be if there is just a bulb out of the box that would produce this output w/o the need of the ballasts and extra wiring.

teabox
05-08-2009, 07:41 AM
I'm not sure if its the same for all cars, but behind the headlight, there is a gear looking knob where you can adjust the height of the beam. You can use a 8mm or 10mm (not sure which one).

Clockwise to lower, counter clockwise to higher.

Thanks Wil, I got my kit and relay harness =D
