Did you use a cyanoacrolyte glue or more of an epoxy?

I've been seriously waiting for someone to do this. If I had a double din unit, I would've done this.
Definitely looks good!

I used crazy glue...cause i had it laying around and plus i had a bunch of the kicker stuff so that i can get it to stick instantly!!

amazing outcome! what is "ppg" paint? Also, you mentioned that you had to sand the plastic. Did the paint have difficulty adhering to the surface?

paint does not stick very well to abs plastic or the heat treated paint on the oem pieces....

you need to sand with 400 grit sandpaper to get some bite to the primer and then wetsand the primer to 600 grit and paint/clear the whole thing....
