So i want to polish my stock header, but was wondering if its possible at all to get that goldish bronze color when i polish it, like when you get a brand new TT manifold.
Possible? Or is their a reason why i cant do that.

 

Some on already did this I can't remember if it turned bronze or not but it took this guy hourrrs on and off he had a spare header but if u have the free time go for it.

I know what u mean my megan header was bronze n awsome now it has dull hot spots n stuff looks dirty and I'm lazy so it's whatever

 

CSOCSO check out his DIY was pretty great. and yes as soon as u polish it and start driving again it will turn bronzeish color. need to do my header im jus gonna sand it and get all that dirtness off first

 

your 100% sure it will turn that nice bronze color?

 

yup jus like it would when u install a brand new header or repolish it again, the heat will eventually jus make the color again, jus make sure u don't leave fingerprints on it and clean it with alcohol

 

polish it and shoot some hitemp clearcoat on it.

 

what is the clearcoat gonna do. keep it from discoloring?
