:come:
So i put in a CAI and torque damper in my car and ever since ive noticed harsher idling. Lots of shaking on driver side and the steering while at times and it might stop for a few seconds then again, and does this from time to time. If i give a little gas just to put it maybe 50-100rpm it idles fine without shaking. Its a 5-speed 07 tC. Could it be that the MAF is malfunctioning or it needs to be reprogrammed for the increased air flow?

While installing the CAI, you should have at some point disconnected the battery (negative) for a few minutes. Then reconnect it and let the car idle for 10-15 min. This resets the ECU and allows the car to relearn it's air intake.
You may also want to rev the engine a little bit during this idle period.
If after you do this it STILL does not idle properly, you could have damaged the MAF.

It will idle rough after resetting the ECU as well most times. Driving the car for a while will allow the ECU to relearn and correct it.

Well it is reconfiguring for the CAI so it running a lil rough. And the TD is gunna put more vibrations in the cabin. Be glad u didn't get the motor mounts

Well ive had the mods for about near 3 months now, so shouldnt it have learned already? Theres no way i could have damaged the MAF as i havent done anything to it, just disconnected and reconnected at end

Ah... didn't realize it had been that long. If it is something that just started, you could at least try to reset the ECU now and see if it helps (someone else just had to do that and it helped him). Not sure what the cause could be, but it might work.

So i just took out the negative wire from the battery and replaced then idled the car for a few mins. Seemed to be idling at about 600-700 rpm kinda like be4. I noticed that when the engine was cold it was idling at 800-900rpm and was a lot less shaky. Il have to drive it around for a lil while i guess to see if theres really a difference. Usually i dont get a lot of rough idling, but just sometimes it starts to shake kind of a lot.

did you try disconnecting the TD, see if that helps

The torque dampener will cause more some of the vibration from the engine to be transferred into the cabin, that could be what you're feeling.

I know that the damper causes more vibrations and i can hear them when running the car, but its different. My car will idle normal and all of a sudden it will just begin to shake more than normal and as soon as i tap the pedal it will disappear and return as i let go like its running on just a few RPM less than it should. And then all of a sudden it may go away and come back some other time, but it feel like its gotten better with time.
