Default Question regarding carbon fiber hood install

Simply put,

I want to get a carbon fiber hood for my 08 tC.

I would like to know what kind of shops would install it for me because I am new to this.

The hoods:

you can install it yourself. its just 4 bolts on the hinges...take those off, get a buddy to help hold the new hood while you put the bolts back on.

Yeah, mine came with pre-drilled small holes. So I used those as a guide and just had to widen them a tad. That took about 10 min.

Use a friend also.... it makes it a lot easier when lining up the hood

not a fan of those hoods. If I got a carbon fiber hood I would either get seibon or kaminari..never heard of any fitment issues with those.

Yea I would get the seibon OEM style or kaminari reverse cowl hood. The seibon has the holes, the kami doesn't

where would be a good site to purchase kaminari or seibon hoods?

edit: http://www.andysautosport.com/scion/...r00130764.html

be a good hood?

Because with a carbon fiber hood, I actually want to see my car's hood when I am driving because I can't with the normal hood.

For the kami one get it straight from them.

http://www.kaminari.com/catalog/40

Seibon I think advancespeedshop.com has good prices.

Also check out the sponsor sales on here, they might have some good deals.

^^Well the kaminari is the best hood out there, as far as looks and fitment. I would pay that in a heart beat.

OP why do you need to see your hood while you are driving?

Been driving truck before, just used to seeing hood.

At this point, it seems that the ViS one seems to be the one I would like to get.
