i hate police...why don't they do their duty and arrest the real bad guys?
i got pulled over this morning right in front of my house...supposedly the copster said i didn't make a full stop at the stop sign. omg...don't they have better things to do than pull me over for not stopping for full 3 seconds?
i pull out of my house like million times ...there are no cars on that street , just like today... i can turn out with my eyes closed. And this rookie cop...i know the cop was a roookie by the way "she" was handling the whole ticketing.
She pulled me over...had her hands on her holster throughout the whole process and was standing near my rear door and extending her arms to reach for my driver license. Then she stood at 45 degree angle from the rear of my car about 20 feet away while she wrote me up... then she comes back with the ticket to sign...all i see is her arms... man...she must be paranoid a 8 o'clock in the morning...
she put down that i was traveling at estimated 10mph through the stop sign...man talk about being picky.
ne ways..i'm in violation of "failure to stop at posted stop sign"
is there any difference between that and failure to "completely" stop? just wondering...
i'm ____ed...although this is my first ticket in 4 years. i hate women cops...they go by the books...damn rookies.

Yes. You need to stop completely at a stop sign.... Better go to traffic school, that's a moving violation.

hey my wife was a cop, i take offence to that statement above, i perfer you call them charlie's angel, or t.j. hooker and wink at them a couple times,, you might have gotten off with a warning, and her number(if she was cute) that is how i met my wife(she arrested me) 3 months later we were dating. she just could not resist the charm of a felon.

We call that "Californian Stop" which we reduce speed like 1 MPH and then go again
I fail my DMV driving test once for doing that...
Too bad Davis spend too much of our tax payer money and now Arnold wants all the police to give out as much tickets as possible to help us not to increase on the tax
I guess we just have to keep our eyes wide open now days...
A good driver check all 3 mirrors every 10 second (thats what DMV test says)... looking for cops

STOP stands for "Slide Through Or Park!"
If she was cute, you should have asked her if she's had a chance to try out those handcuffs yet.

most tickets people get, and accidents too will be close to home. You must look real intimidating in your box to catch the rookies attention.... http://www.scionlife.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif and good heads up on ticketassassin.com WhiteToaster

10 mph seems a little fast for going through a stop sign.
first of all... i wasn't going 10mph through the stop sign. secondly, the copster did not have a radar gun. Thirdly, it was a T intersection...with the right of the intersection being a cul-de-sac.
I think she was just giving me hard time cuz of my boxy car. She even asked who makes the car cuz she didn't see the emblem on my car...i told her it's on the registration...damn rookie.
ne ways...i'm probably gonna fight the ticket cuz i was not going 10mph through the stop sign...my needle was hardly moving. I actually braked...although it was for about 2 sec or so.
she was one of those dykes...or a feminist _____ who is out to give young guys in fixed up cars a hard time. she treated me like i was a felon...

The worst is trying to explain to a cop that Scion is the name of the car company, that took me about 10 mins to explain to some cop in Whittier, but luckily my car was parked before he was even close, he approached me walking and I was in the mood to be confusing...

Doc, I lived in Colorado Springs for 10 years (1991-2001). Absolutely beautiful place, but the long winters (Sept-May) were too much for me. Been back in my hometown of San Diego for 2 1/2 years and I have not missed the snow for even a second.[/quote]

I guess they were keeping you from running over some little kid walking across the street or hitting someone who had the right of way. It is their job to enforce ALL laws. Even the ones you don't like.
It doesn't matter if anyone was there or not. You're like my buddy, who feels it's "ok to run redlights after midnight." (He's only had his license revoked 3 times, so it's ok.)
I've lost 2 cars to accidents to people who didn't stop properly, pull their head out of their butt, and look both ways before pulling out onto the street. :x

not like this has much to do with this, but I lost my cherished 71 Mustang that I bought for $450 off the original owner who used it as a daily driver and kept it cherry right before he died. Then some _____ in a Honda Accord wagon ran a red and t boned my car to the point where my door, quarter panel, the engine compartment, the tire even, everything got jacked. It was about a couple grand worth of work, if I did it myself... and check this, the chick who nailed me had no insurance, no license, not even u.s. residency, and of course no money.... but thats still way different then a california roll.... roll on
