Default Lip Kit Installation Opinion

Alright, so I work at a dealership with a bodyshop and ordered the oem lip kit thinking they would be able to install it for me. They assured me they would have an outside company that specializes in moldings and trim do it. Well today the guy came out and was too scared to install the kit because you have to drill slots in the bumpers. He also mentioned having to put the car in the air and possibly take the wheels off....(I think hes an idiot?) that is kind of a no brainer...

I found the instructions on TRD Sparks and have a hard time believing someone who specializes in moldings cant cut slats that are ALREADY MARKED FROM THE FACTORY!!! Anyways, I'm wondering if any of you have installed this kit yourself? I will have the availability of a rack as well as all the proper tools. The installation instructions seem fairly straight forward so I'm thinking to give this a shot by myself. Any input?

You're right that it should be fairly straight forward. Sad that someone specializing in that stuff was afraid to follow some instructions.

I'd say do it yourself.

DYI FTMFW. If you want something done right you just have to do it yourself.

Thanks guys! Yeah I checked with some service techs and they have all the bits and remover tools I need. My friend and I will tackle this tomorrow morning and hopefully I'll have some cool pics to post here tomorrow night.

Wow so I was talking with the bodyshop tonight. They said if I was a regular customer they would have charged over 400 dollars JUST to paint the five pieces. I was only charged 125

Those are the install instructions...it doesn't look bad at all.
