i got the optional TYC taillights from the dealer, love them!
i bought this paint to black out the taillight, tryin to make ma black box even blacker.
looks a nice fun mod. anyone around here have pics of the blacked out TYC taillights?i would love to see what it looks like b4 i regret doing it....thanx alll

Ken (NCP31) had his TYC taillights blacked out on his BSP xB. The body shop next to Michael's Mufflers in San Jose did it. It came out very, very nice.

Oh, and I'll try and get some pics on sunday for you.

i was thinking of putting a smoked overlay over my spare set of tyc tailights, they have a few tiny scratches and i was thinking the overlay would cover em up. they arent noticable anyway unless you know they are there

Correct me if I'm wrong,but why spend 200 bucks for TYC's only to cover them up with dark tint. If I get TYC's I'm going to leave them the way they are isn't that the reason for getting them. My 2 cents!

.... becuase the TYC's are exactly the best looking things. They're a start, but only that.

ummm i personally think stop light tails are ugly. thats just me tho. and i smoke crack , well not really , lol

lol, cuz i got them from the dealer cuz the stiock taillights are butt fugly!the tyc taillight are way nicer.plus i have seen the stock taillights painted and there not that nice. maybe the tyc taillights are better looking blacked out....waiting for some pix tho

It just seems like a major waste to tint cool looking tails like TYC's. Tinted is tinted, tint the stockers and sell the TYC's to someone that can use them as is!

i think a light tint on them would look nice, im probly going to do it to my spare set of tyc's i have sitting in my garage. so i can swap them out when i want tinted ones

Instead of TYC's I'm getting some JDM tails and leaving them as is.

why not jsut buy some clear smoke vinyl ? looks great. ill have pics one day.
