Has anyone installed these? What does it require?

I've installed some JDM honda ones on an Integra before and it required extensive cutting to the window mouldings.

What about the weathertech ones? Simple double sided tape?

The JDM ones are very simple to install, you can PM doctorcue, he has them on. He said there was no drilling to do either, I have the weather tech ones on and yeah its just double sided tape.

What made you go with the weather tech over the jdm ones?

Yeah, 200 bucks for e'Sam visors (JDM) versus 50 bucks for the weathertechs...

btw, rumor has it that Scion is releasing their own visors soon...but I don't know when...

I have the weather tech on my xb and they are ok, i wouldn't say the best quality. I had to sand down a little on the back visors cause the window kept hitting it and wouldn't shut! I'll soon be buying the Toyota jdm visors for looks but mostly for quality. Good luck on your choice 8)

It all depends on how much YOU want to spend and the style that YOU like.

I like the eSams myself, but don't have the visors yet cuz I don't have the extra cash.

Yeah there is a considerable differance in price. Plus I am not to sure about having the visor that big, I like how the scion xB window is huge as it is. Also I was cheap and bought the weather techs!

I like the look of my Esam Nets window visors. very easy to install. more expensive than weather techs, but I like design and thickness of the visor compared to the rest. to me it was worth it.

Well, Esams are not Factory option, we do have JDM factory option visors but esams are just regular JDM after market , if you have the one that said Netz on the box then you have the Factory option ones, they both mount the same way but the good thing about the factory one is you can add overlay to it which comes with some of the kits in Japan, JDMP

The side vents/visors are like carbon fiber hoods, you get what you pay for.

no cutting .....you got to pull some of the window stripping so you can mount the two clips per window where the holes are on the visors....then match it up ....put the little tabs in ...then tada .....done.....thanks e-man ....for helping me with mine..... :D

esams are hard to get...so good luck on getting those ....your best bet is the OEM Toyota of Japan Visors....let me know....I can get you those, but it will cost you a pretty penny.....pm me if you are interested in those.... :D
