Question if one were to use Dupli-color rattle paint (the General Purpose ones) does one use lacquer or enamel paint. Thanks.

what about afterwards wetsanding with high grit and polishing for high gloss?

 

Very cool but I was also left wondering where the finish work went.

 

What finish work? You don't need to wet sand and buff, unless you get runs in the paint or clear. Runs should not occur if you take your time and layer up all the coats.

Nice write up. Just did my gauge bezel silver and it looks sooo much better than the stock black. Kinda brings the interior together.

 

Pictures in 10 minutes.

 

Finished product, not wet sanded or buffed. All rattle can.
