Carbon fber fenders hu. Most ppl aren't feeling them but what ever tickles ur pickle.

Yea, those are the ones. I am sponsored by ABS Dynamics on a CF lip kit as soon as they become available. They are talking next month on the lips. The fenders are in stock and ready to go though....

i would love a set and candy coat them. ill be picking up a CF hood and ill have it candy coated BCP :-D

how do you ruin CF? it may be a sleeper sneaky issue, or just to save weight without drawing attention. id do both. but i candy coat the frenders to match my color. like in this thread

to me, that's just ugly. The whole original concept, as i understand it, for carbon fiber is to a) reduce weight and b) contrast the colors on the car, true jdm style

to me carbon fiber is perfect the way it is, no need to be colored. coloring is just americans ruining a good thing, like most imports

If it was wood, I'd worry about it. It's just carbon fiber. It was initially used to be light and stronger than fiberglass. Fiberglass is painted everyday.

Am I the only one who doesn't care if the c/f is painted or not? I think it's nice either way, although my two favorites are 1) I saw a car at a show with a painted hood, but when you opened it, the bottom was c/f, very hot, I think. 2) painting the body part but letting some of the c/f still show thru, foe instance, if you have a c/f front & rear bumper, hood, and trunklid, you could have a completely painted car, with c/f racing stripes. Not a big fan of stripes, but it gets across the point.

Man, I would get some of those fenders. But I need them in black and silver carbon fibre to match my hood and wing.

I don't care to much for the carbon fiber, (on our cars it's so obvious that it's just there for looks) but I like your idea. It's different than the rest of the "look what I just bolted on" stuff. Your idea would actually take some skill and is tastefully subtle.

i wouldnt paint a cf hood or hatch but i would not want some hideous huge piece of non car colored body piece on the front sides . aka fenders , thats doin way too much.

I think the fenders and hood combo would look like a euro front clip - flip the hood to open the other way and attach the fenders so its all one piece, a couple quick release tiedowns at the bottom of the fenders... That would be crazy...

I've also seen graphics at a car show that looked like the paint was ripped and there was CF underneath but it was the vinyl CF cuz it was a graphics kit. - it would be sweet to do that look with real CF underneath...
