New Tire Suggestion
HI All-
Looking to replace my stock Yokohama S32A tires. Looking to keep it between 100-150 a tire. What are some good options for 215/45-17? I live in New England and this car will see wet roads, snow, and higher speed driving. I know i'm probably asking for the impossible but what are some potential options? thanks for your advice!

I'm a big fan of General Exclaim UHP, Tirerack has 'em for $85 apiece in that size. I've had them on my Audi S4 before and they were awesome. I have them on my tC right now.
I also like Kumho Ecsta AST's which I've had on the Audi, and my Miata. Great tire for the money. $75 each on Tirerack. You can get the Ecsta ASX as well.
Sumitomo and Fuzion have options for well under $100. The Sumi HTR+ and the Fuzion ZRi.

I need new tires for my car too... Just the stock 215/45 17's. I've been doing some research online and I absolutely cannot make up my mind. I would like a tire where I will get good overall tire tread life (I drive 80 miles total a day for work on strictly highways). I also need a tire that can go well in all conditions because I am from PA (All season tire is a must). I have the stock Bridgestones on the car now and I got 20K miles out of them which I didn't think was too bad for stockers. I would most definatly like to get a bit better tread life on my replacements though...
Another concern of mine and something I've read in some of the tire reviews were a loss in MPG so that is another factor that I'm keeping in consideration before I make my final choice.
I have looked at the following so far (online that is):
1) Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons (mixed reviews and alot of folks complained about terrible road noise after 10K) Also, the tread life wasn't exactly the best from the reviews I've read.
2) Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions (same bag of mixed reviews with these tires and they are a bit more expensive.
Maybe I'm taking the wrong approach by thinking that a more expensive tire is the way to go? Could you guys here please offer some help?

i've been looking for tires as well and i've narrowed my choice down to the Kuhmo Ecsta ASX's which i should be getting within the next few months. haven't had experience with them but heard a lot of good things about them.
i need new tired pretty soon also and have no idea what kind to get. did some research and came upon the BFGoodrich g-Force™ Super Sport A/S. what you guys think about this tire? my main concerns are road noise, ride comfort, and lifespan of tire. any input would help
Falken FK-452's I tried and its impossible to break traction in the rain. The only thing is treadlife, I've got over 25k on them. I'll need to get new ones at around 30k. I got them for $94 a tire.
Oh and get 225/45/17, its wider than stock but they still fit fine, theoretically, more surface area=better traction.
