Hi SLers. I know im probably gonna get flamed for this.... I just installed some 6000k hids for my IIPTC in stock housing(05-07). soon, im gonna get the eyelids and lower my lights b/c i cant afford a retrofit right now. But im bothered by the light directly under my hid bulbs cuz it is yellow and mixes the color with my hids. Should I remove them?? or should i replace it with a whiter bulb. need some advice

the HIDs will over ride it so when you look at your HIDs you wont see it that much. its your call, save money or spend money

 

r u talking about the tiny lights under the hids? the parking lights? cause u can take those tiny lights out and change them for white or blue leds and have that problem solved. and then u can change ur blinkers too cause they throw off the color, jus get sum chromed bulbs for the blinkers

 

feel free to remove them. doesn't really matter.

 

You can change them to anything you want. I changed them because in the daytime i ride with my fogs and parking lights only. So I want the parking lights to be white. I used to have them blue but I worried about law.

Superbrightleds.com has nice white leds you can get.

 

I have 4chip white leds in the front of my rs-1.....i need really white headlight bulbs to match...any suggestions? stockers....

 

I've never heard of LED's holding up well in headlight housings....

 

I can vouch that Catz brand does (now out of business) and i've heard PIAA lasts too

 

I have blue led running lights, just under the low beam, first day....PULLED OVER! He let me off. The cop said "there's alot of things about this car that are questionable".....LOL What a tool. He needed to make sure I understood him. I still use them. My only problem is matching my headlights and fogs with my white leds. WHITE WHITE
