Default Eh i moneyshifted :0 now i need INFO lol

Ok so as i was doing a high way roll against a B16 modded civic if anyone wants to know i started in 3rd and when shifting into 4th, i put it in 2ND!!! yeah... really bad and i have plenty of experience and never in my life money shifted so yeah.. anyhow there is a clicking sound that is very noticeable. I know i damaged something.
The sound is on the top of the engine, and speeds up with the position of the gas pedal, i believe it has something to do with a valve, ughhh well anyhow im just wondering if anyone has done this before and taken it to get fixed, like what did they say was damaged, how much to fix...
Im taking the car in the morning to the shop to see what it is but i have low cash!! along with everyone else,
Weird thing is i did the Redline MT90 just yesterday and shifting is smooth as ____t i think this might play a roll in why i money shifted but who knows.
Mods done-Intake, Header,Spipe,Catback(also use mobile 1) lets see if the dealer blames it on that lol
Im not mad because if ur gonna race, you pay the price! but it suckssss
Thanks Everyone! PlS let me know your stories!
PS: we did a rerun just after the MS and i beat him by 3 cars! cool kid though the clicking didnt start till after i went out an hr later after returning home from the poor shift.

you floated the valves they are bent. I had the same problem... i didn't money shift to cause it. toyota put the wrong cam timing on my ECU. but it came out to about 3500 for parts and then labor.. mine was fixed under warranty. you will prolly have to play out of pocket... If I were you i'd get another head and build it.

take off your header and look at your exhaust valves to be sure
then if the exhaust valves are bent then your intake are bent if not worse. bc of our vvt-i which opens the intake valves longer they would be more at risk for damage.

Dont assume they are bent til u take off your header and look at them. how bad was the money shift anyway? did u drop the clutch and it instantly revved to 8+k RPM?

yeah it was pretty bad, i have NEVER done it before... i mean i caught it quick but i burried that needle for a good second unfortunately. The car has no check engine light and is driving ok atm as far as driving home goes. hopefully it isnt as bad as i heard so far but you never know... and i wont have time to take off the head and ____ im just bringing it to the shop tomorrow. unless you guys think its really benefitial to look first, im not that good with my engine internals though so i dont think it would go that well

if your exhaust valves look like that then buy a used head and start building it.

new valves
dual wound vale springs
retainers
seals
then stage 2 NA cams and tune

im prolly leaving some stuff out im rrly tired. :/

dont take off the head just the header as in the part of your exhaust attached to the head. its mush easier.

be 100% certain there is damage b4 you take it in. don't spend money you don't need to.

you can still turbo

now you can get your block built and your head get a balanced crank rods pistons sleeves and a built head and you'll be ready for turbo.

those pics are form the valves on my car.

are you the only owner? how hard have you or other driven it?

that is a major factor as I am the only owner of my car and it has 21k miles.
