Ok, so it prolly not totaled, air bags didnt go off. Entire passenger side needs fixed/replaced and most of the front. Front pass door will open about a foot. Stupid graduating college kid.

Nope. Was a guy. Trying to make a blind left turn around a semi that had stopped to let him out in busy downtown lunch traffic.

i dont know whats worse, the bra, or the damage....lol. Just kidding, i hope you end up being happy with the outcome. Cars are never the same and body work is a PITA.

 

Its definitely fixable. Take the payout and get yourself a body kit. Get a couple friends together and I'm sure they would be willing to help get it to look right. Autoswartzman lives not to far in Columbia and does his own work. Good luck and post your work log if you do.

Like Stubby, after Bambi hit him on the left side and destroyed a good deal of the front parts that were there. After about two weeks in the body shop, there was no way anyone would know that something untoward happened.

And it only cost me the 200 bux for the deductible. It should cost you nothing out-of-pocket, 'cause the one who hit you should pay whatever insurance doesn't cover . . . .

Same thing happened to me but it was my rear passenger quarter that got busted since I swerved to miss more impact.

I hope you are okay and that insurance does you right.

 

My poor baby got T-Boned by an slacker in a BMW in LA. Ran a red light and creamed her. It flipped the Box twice before resting on the passenger side. She made out OK with a lot of bruises but no breaks or cuts. The box really shined in this wreck!!! She is going to get another 1st Gen!
