Hey i just got an Agency Power Exhaust from fastscion.com and my mechanic friend said i should get a silencer for it since its alittle on the loud side. ive been looking around but i dont see a silencer made for the exhasut. so are there any other silencers availible that would fit the agency power exhaust for the tC?

No, stay away from a silencer. They look really ridiculous, and make it sound worse IMO.

Just get a resonator welded onto your midpipe, shouldn't be too much, your local exhaust shop can do it.

silencers are wack and it will sound terrible.. just get a resonator welded on.. thats what i did and it made it sound even better

yep the resonator on the AP is not a real good one at killing noise,just swap it out with a nice one about the same size and you will be good.

you can get any silencer that fits the 4 inch tip.......universal tunable one....use megans racing one.....as along at it fits 4 inch your fine but i dont recommed getting one.......if its to loud that like other said get another resanator welded in...

Also if you plan on header for the car,you will cringe the first time you hear it with the AP exhaust........if you goto the Seattle meet and Greet you can hear Giovanni's AP with the MMW header,pretty sure he has not added resonator to it yet.

If you hear mine you can get an idea of how the resonator tunes the sound down and volume down without taking away from the overall exhaust note......I have HKS can but the sound is about the same as AP volume wise and close in tone too.

i know this is an oooold post, but i just got my AP installed yesterday. and yeah, it is daaamn loud. fiance isnt too happy. i like the sound a lot but for a daily driver in the city (lots of cops) it would be nice to turn down the volume just a little. so you guys are saying if i just take it to an exhaust place and say "can you weld another resonator on my midpipe?" i should be good? anyone have a video or can get a video of what it will sound like? % decrease? sorry imma noob :D thanks!

well i guess mine is so quite cause i only got the axle-back but thats soon to change
