Hey guys!
I have the 7 spoke alloys from Scion. I was wondering if there is a QUALITY ay to paint them black, and also something to coat them with so the paint doesnt chip off and what not.
Any suggetions on how to do this or where to get it done?

Powdercoating is the ONLY way to do it! Any rattlecan application will chip!

Anyone know if they can mask areas when powdercoating? I want to leave the front of the spokes and a ring, and powdercoat the rest gunmetal. Also, anyone know a place in the Phoenix area that does rims?

Powdercoat Frequently Asked Questions
What is Powder Coating?
Powder Coating is a dry finishing process that uses finely ground powders of pigment and resin to coat the surface. Powder coating uses an electrostatically charged technique in which the powders are charged so that the powder particles adhere to the metal surface and are then melted and fused together in the curing process.
Since its introduction in North America almost 40 years ago, powder coating has become the fastest growing finishing technology, currently representing over 10 percent of the total industrial finishing market. More and more finishing engineers for a countless array of products have switched from liquid finishing to powder coating as a way to produce a high quality and durable finish while maximizing production, cutting costs, improving efficiency, and complying with increasingly stringent environmental regulations.
What are the benefits of powder coating versus wet painting?
Superior Scratch Resistance
Superior Chemical Resistance
Superior Impact Resistance
Why change to Powder Coating?
Greater durability of Powder Coating
Cost competitive to internal wet coating expenses
Eliminates environmental issues for all
Custom colors available
Textured finishes available
Indoor, Outdoor, Harsh environmental powders are available

Wow! Thanks for all the responses!
Does anyone know of a good place in Jersey that does Powder Coating? That seems like the way to go. I'm sloppy with a spray can and don't have a lift, so i'd be doing one wheel at a time. No uniformity.
Thanks again!

Powdercoating is great, I got mine done last year for $50 a wheel and there are no chips and still look new.
