ok, so lately, ive been hearing some noise coming from the front left wheel. its like some deep humming sound. any speed around 40-45ish? it starts to make the deep sound. anything past 45-on...it gets louder. my guy who graduated from UTI and now is working/internship at totyota, said it might be the wheel bearing? he hasnt drove it himself yet but ive been asking him to drive it and see whats wrong with it? any ideas if it is the wheel bearing or something else? thanks

it either could be that, or u jus have noisy tires/worn out tires, try rotating the rear wheels to ur front and ur fronts to ur back and drive like that if the humming sound goes to the back now then ull know it was the tires itself, same thing happened to me but it was in the back, I changed the tires and voila! its gone

When did the sound start? A few days ago? Or 2 months ago? Or did it progressively get louder

Just balance and rotate them to rule that out. Start with the simple things before you are thinking it's something bigger or more complicated.

jack up the car so the wheel in question is off the ground. grab the sides (3 and 9 o'clock positions) see if there is any play/looseness. if yes, then its a wheel bearing problem.

along with this noise, is there any vibration? Lately when the front wheel bearings have been bad on some tC's this usually is the case. When you turn the wheel while driving, does it change tone?
