Default here it goes. tsudo n1 or megan racing drift spec?

i dont like to make commitments on stuff unless im SURE of it so i pretty much got it down to these 2 catbacks. i was thinkin agency but its too expensive, as long as i get some "power" haha ill be happy. the megan has a nice rumble and the tsudo seems like a good choice too. i wanna hear info on the 2. sound, sound levels, power and if tsudo comes with a silencer?, i forgot. ANY info on either will help...then ill buy it ah scary haha. im thinkin weapon r headers and maybe megan spipe. i know thatll give it rasp (thats why i chose 2 exhausts with resonators chyeah) Thanks!

I cant speak on the tsudo because ive never owned one but Ive had the drift spec from megan for almost a year now... FYI there are probably a million breakdowns for both of these exhausts hence the reason people arent jumping on this thread to answer you. "Search" is always a good tool to use for these kind of things ... Anyways it always comes down to what 'you' like, the megan can be considered loud by some folks and ive kept my silencer on for that reason. The power boost without a decent header(I have the megan header too) isnt gonna be all that great but ive noticed with my setup a decent jump.

I have the axleback off of a Tsudo n1. Sounds really nice, really loud and deep, and with the headers and spipe, its going to have a ton of rasp no doubt, the resonators in these exhausts are not going to be enough.

^^^ yes, the header will definently cause a very harsh rasp. I had a exhaust shop install a extra resonator towards the front of the car to elminate the rasp.

i love my megan exhaust but not wit my headers its to raspy, i need to buy me some resonators to calm it down. Either or is a good choice

the silencer that comes with the cannister will not stop the rasp......what it will do with a header is make the car sound like it is farting all the time......it iwll be horrid,only way to fix header rasp is install ing resonator to midpipe.

I like the sound of the Megan over the Tsudo.......it has a clean sound to it for a cannister.

If you are also looking for angle out cannisters look intothe HKS......it is awsome sounding......better than both megan and tsudo,it has almost no droning and is deep sounding and gets loud if you womp on it.

Speaking of silencer, lol how the he11 do you take the damn thing off? I tried unscrewing the small screws and washers off but after I did that I couldn't pull the actual silencer out????

sometimes they are kinda stuck,grab it with a good set of pliers and pull and wiggle a little and twist and it should come out........my GReddy was stuck in there,even after removeing the tip of the cannister it fought me......lol

yeah i keep reading up on both and they both seem really similar. im cool with a lil raspyness to it with headers. and loudness is fine cause if i get a fix it ticket i just have to put the silencer on and it passes haha so. and isnt the HKS axleback. ehhhh. i have the trd axleback now and its whatevr haha. the Ingen intake makes it better but still, i wanna turn heads. this is gonna be a hard decision

Megan drift spec will turn heads,I also love how it looks.

Yep HKS is just axelback but probably one of the best sounding ones out there too.

I really gotta do a youtube video one of these days.

tsudo looks better than megan, its not too angled looking from the rear.. but looks great looking from the sides of the rear! i miss my tsudo n1 look, makes the car look bad ___.. tsudo n1 + aero resonator, the sound is great!

I don't think the silencer will make you pass in CA.
But the Tsudo has a huge tip, I think thats the only downside. For the money, it's well worth it!

yeah CA sucks.. but megan and HKS too have huge tips.. its all up to your preference... the only downside with tsudo is poor hanger support, it has tendency to be bouncing with your bumper.. i know hks has issues too but i cant speak for HKS or megan

Yeah, I bought my tsudo from Ace.
The exhaust shakes like a mother lol, but I love the sound.

hmm. well its sounds like tsudo isnt a bad way to go. cause the megan is backordered for MONTHS and that doesnt sound very pleasing to me. the tsudo is cheaper too, as long as its not crappy stuff. hey as long as its deep sounding its cool with me. if it sounds like the megan even better haha. and im guessing the power gain from either isnt much so that doesnt matter?

alright ive picked. imma go with the megan. now im seeing some on the internet that are just catback, and some that come with the spipe attached. so im guessing with that one, it replaces the cats. i dont really want that because itll be even louder right? and illegal? haha

i just want the regular drift spec catback. but i was thinking adding an spipe to it later, and not replacing the cats. is that possible

The Megan and Tsudo catback exhausts bolt up to the factory S-pipe, eliminating the second catalytic converter. If you get a Weapon-R header there's no need to get an S-pipe, it's designed to be used with only one, and it's the one it comes with.

thats funny cause i was thinking of getting weapon-r headers if i decide to get any.

crap so getting the megan will leave me with no cats? hmm. the combo of the weapon-r and spipe to the megan sounds like a beast haha

i think and angle exhaust makes the car look meaner..the megans drift spec is probably the best angle exhasut for the tc..besides agency power but thats like $650......HKS is angle however they have it a little pointed downwards toward the ground rather then up and out like the drift spec.......its all personal choice....it all came down to the megans drift spec for me cause i like the angle of it its sounded very nice..pretty decent price.......

Anyways it always comes new york asian escorts down to what 'you' like, the megan can be considered loud by some new york escort folks and ive kept my new york asian escort silencer on for that reason.
