Components Question
First of all if you reply to this message please leave which speakers (if after market ) and what you think of them. I personally have the Kicker DS Series DS650. I need help I want to upgrade my speakers in which I have had mine for almost 2 years now... I want to upgrade to get ones that take more power and are much louder. I want the crisp sound we all want... thing is I have tried doing the research and have not been impressed with what I have seen. Huge prices and very little changes in frequency levels or dB levels. Only change I see is power? Does it make that much of a difference? I have no clue where to look or start on this I just see numbers and specs. Anyone have suggestions on the most crisp loud speakers out there on the market right now? Please comment...

rockford t series components are great. you can get them for less than $150 a set and they get really loud and sound very decent. they can be a little bright but a little eqing can help that a lot. i ran some polk db components too and they get very loud but were way too sharp for my ears.
sound is subjective. what some people think is crisp, i think is sharp. go to a reputable car audio shop and ask them to let you demo the speakers so you can see what everything sounds like to your ears.
