Just wondering if anyone's had this issue. I was accelerating at a high rate of speed, hit around 90 mph and try'd to roll up my windows but I guess when the sunroof is open there is too much vacuum and the windows tilt inword witch causes the windows to go down when they get restricted. Anybody ran into this issue?

wow ive never had that happen lolll only thing ive noticed is if i have my music up loud with my 2 subs and try to roll the window up u can hear them vibrate against the frame at the top as they fully close

 

never really tried it, yet again i don't keep my sunroof open at higher speeds...

 

Never had this problem. But then I guess I'm not dumb enough to try putting my windows up or down at 90.

Yep yep. I think I recall a couple of people's sunroofs shattering at speeds not much higher than 55 mph

 

Yea defiantly not smart to be going 90 and then trying to mess with the windows. But there is nothing in the manual that says you cant have your sunroof open at higher speeds. However I close mine at 50 because I dont like how much it moves around.

 

Was not aware that the roof can shatter at 50 mph I drive 70 mph all the time with the roof open never had any problems in the three years I've owned the car.

too fast? maybe not, but illegal everywhere in the US yes, and reckless

 

sunroof is not advised in manual to be open on highway,it is also common sense in a way,glass flipped up will shatter and rain down on you if a rock should hit it.........at 90 if that happened you would be looking for parts of your car at the junk yard,slow down you will live longer.
