yeah alright guys i'm gonna go take some better pics today, i did wetsand between coats, first coat with 0000 steel wool, second with 800 then topcoat. now im gonna buff them. does that sound like a good plan?
Those look pretty damn dark. I did the same thing when I had my 3000. Looks like you've got some more illumination than I did bc I didn't wetsand in between coats. There would be a bunch of us driving somewhere and we would get spread out. My tail's were so pitch black that my buddies would tell me I straight up disappeared at 150 yards or so at nighttime. rofl
The true test is to see how bright they are during the day. On a sunny day, sometimes you can't even tell if a car is on the brakes at all with super blacked out taillights.

What has prevented me thus far from tinting mine is the fact that if you get rear ended by someone, the blame can be placed upon you for having the taillights tinted and causing difficulty in light visibility (which the person who rear ends you would claim).
