hey guys i feel like crying right now

last night i was going through a blinking red light. i stopped and saw everyone else stopped. i saw a cop watching the intersection for red-light runners. i proceeded to pull through the intersection and heard screeching tires and my car was hit and i was airborne sort of. He was going roughly 45-50 mph when he hit me and had a wife and daughter in the car. the 3-4 y.o daughter was taken to the hospital.i wound up on the other side of the road after flying over a median. A cop witnessed the whole incident and im not at fault in anyway. my car is beyond a doubt totaled though. Ill take pictures tom. Im just sore as hell and feel like crying!

woww that sucks man but as long as u and the people in the other car are ok thats what matters, u can replace metal but not people, it still sucks that ur car is totaleddd :/

 

yeh he missed it going about 50. thankfully a cop was on the side of that intersection with its lights of monitoring it for red-light runners and watched the whole thing happen. the other driver got a ticket for running the red. I am not positive but i really think its totaled. I have insurance on all the aftermarket parts though so well see what comes of this. So much going on right now!

yeah bro I remember a month or 2 back when u lost ur front bumper (I think it was) its all in the insurance's hands u know? hopefully the insurance gives u a good chunk for the car and the parts. try not to stress it to much (easier said then done) and keep ur head clear. atleast u have full cover and no matter what ull get what u paid for, hopefully

yeh i have gap insurance to. the check for the aftermaket parts under insurance will be around 4000 and i might sue the other driver for missing work and stuff so who knows i might make out like a bandit! either way i look at it, im going to be sitting pretty lol just sad to see it go, ill post pics tom!

 

i'd sue out the main frame. did you have to go to the hospital?

 

nah no hospital but ill have to miss work since i do delivery in my car so im debating sueing him. im going to look into every detail of whats going on so i make an educated decision of my next move!

 

well, the outcome of the case has already been determined so suing wouldnt be a hassle

yeh my friends were a minute away and when they got there the cops were yelling at them and i was trying to tell the cops there not trying to mess with the scene there my friends. so my friends just hopped outta the car and ran over lol. i was really considering getting the badge number of that officer. There was no reason for him to cause a scene like that, there was enough going on as is
