Ok this maybe a newb question, but i've been reading a good number of coilover stories where the settling didn't come out even. So i'm wondering if I put in new springs and my parking garage isn't level, that is the ground is at an angle. Will that affect the settling of the springs?

The uneven settling really is not a common thing. Of course you're going to read some stories about it... but honestly even some of those might not be totally accurate.

You also have to consider that many springs don't settle as much now as they used to (so I've read, anyway). There may be SOME settling, but no where near what they used to back in the day.

As for the angle actually affecting the settling... I don't think there's any way to know. If they're going to settle uneven, it's going to happen no matter what ground the car is on.

ah i see. i was just wondering if my car was leaning to one side constantly, if that side would end up lower than the other. maybe i should turn the car around ever other day or something.
but thats true to if the springs arent going to settle right, then they wont. lol.

thanks for the insight ack154

just as ack said, if theyre going to settle unevenly, they will no matter what angle the ground is at. I have the trd springs, and i park/live in relatively flat areas, and my springs did not settle all at the same height (no wheel has the same gap space) . Now, theyre all within half an inch of eachother and are not that noticeable, but im just giving proof for what ack said.

doesnt matter the agled cuz when u take it out for a ride after installing it the car will be evenly settling and with every bump on the road your closer to settling i drove 300miles my first day of being dropped and mine were fully settled the next day
