ok well i have been searching and didnt really find what i was looking for. im just curious. what is the best offset to go with? i have been looking at some wheels that are +35 offset wondering. what would be the best offset to go with to sit flush with the fender without rubbing once lowered. all answers appreciated. thanks
there's a lot things that you have to take into consideration.
wheel size, width, offset
tire specs
if you have coilovers or just springs
rolling fenders, taking plastics fender wells off, neg camber

yea i figured that much. i was just curious cause i have a friend selling a set of wheels. i was jsut curious cause im going to be lowered on tein htechs in the next couple of weeks and wanted to know mainly if these wheels would work pretty much.
18x9.5 +35 offset. tires are 225/40/18 all the way around.

You're going to have some issues with that combo. 18x8 would be a better choice. You're gonna need to get your fenders rolled.

I was on S-techs for awhile, running 18x7.5 +42 with 225/40/18's and would rub on the "speed bumps" on 64 and 264. If you wanted to run something like that I would say coilovers are almost mandatory along with rolled fenders. If you'd like I know a guy local that rolls, think he charges around $80 for all 4 fenders.

Not taking ride height and wheel diameter into consideration, you can measure how far your current wheel is from the fender in mm and use http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp to see what width and offset would increase the outer position by that much.
