Does anyone have a decent sound clip of the TRD exhaust on the tC? I would like the (admittedly minimal) power gain from the exhaust but I don't want to sound like a ____ed-off hornet as I drive down the highway. Any help would be greatly appreciated - as would be any reviews any TRD owners could give.

 

i remember there was a video clip posted like a week ago,
i tried searching but couldnt find it. i think it sounds pretty good tho

 

just get a borla muffler, you'll get the same effect as the trd exhaust. if i'm not mistaken borla makes the axleback for trd. so just buy a borla muffler and you'll ge the same results. trd exhaust has no power gains.

I like how it sounds. It kinda grew on me in the last 3 weeks. As far as power gains go - nothing you can notice, and nobody has ever dyno'd it. So don't count on becoming any faster ;)

 

it sounds nice but for the money i would want some performance gains.

i got the trd too.
i like it quite well. sound is solid. gives you a nice, "Hey there, how you doin" at start up.
expensive? yes, just like all the other dealer options. find out what a local shop wqill charge to put it on and consider buying the part online.
sweet? yes indeed
made by borla? no one can confirm or deny

if you're considering suspension upgrades, definitely check out the packages at sparks toyota. you can get the whole she-bang for less than the springs allow. again, see what a local shop will charge you!
