O5_TRD_tC 06-01-2009, 06:13 PM kinda off topic but where did your friend order them from? jrodTc 06-01-2009, 06:15 PM kinda off topic but where did your friend order them from? I'm not %100 sure but I think its wheel dude or something like that. I'll ask. Jlowe 06-01-2009, 06:16 PM Well, what's he dropped on? jrodTc 06-01-2009, 06:34 PM Well, what's he dropped on? h-techs xdejablu3x 06-01-2009, 07:08 PM BUMP! i was leaning towards the exact same setup and wheels. tito_tc 06-01-2009, 07:14 PM I don't think so that to big 225/40/18 or 235/35/18 fiendskillz 06-01-2009, 07:30 PM i got 225/40/18.. heres what mine looks like. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3537/3470745191_c4e1a71460_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2442/3542798935_0b069a37b2_b.jpg for me i wish i had gotten 215/40/18 cause i need a little bit more clearance simce im dropped lower. but with htechs i think 235/35/18 would look nice nodsetse 06-01-2009, 07:34 PM i was thinking 245/35/18. That's appropriate for a 9.5" wide wheel. Minimum tire width would be 235, max 275, for that aspect ratio. No idea on that fitting a tC, I'm only replying about tire sizes for the wheel. xdejablu3x 06-01-2009, 08:29 PM i got 225/40/18.. heres what mine looks like. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3537/3470745191_c4e1a71460_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2442/3542798935_0b069a37b2_b.jpg for me i wish i had gotten 215/40/18 cause i need a little bit more clearance simce im dropped lower. but with htechs i think 235/35/18 would look nice what suspension are you rolling out on? do you rub a lot too? HKSpeed 06-01-2009, 09:25 PM thats some nice stretch. what brand tires are they? are they nexens? fiendskillz 06-01-2009, 11:20 PM deja: im on Tein SSP's.. with about -1.7 fronts and -3.4 backs. Im wanting to get form and function type 2s soon and i would need to first sell my coils to do so (in the classifieds section :@] ) then after imma put my camber at 1.5-6 and 3.0 and as for rubbing, i rolled my rear fenders and had to trim some stuff and took out the fender liner in the back so no rubbing at the moment with that..and fronts im only rubbing on the fender liner (only on medium/big dips) which im taking out soon when i get the new coils. hks: thanks, yeah they are nexens..they are decent and get the job done i guess lol /endthreadjacking shinjitai 06-06-2009, 10:01 PM SO MANY GRIDS! OMG thank god i sold mine. Anyway with h-techs, I would go 225/40/18 which is what i had also. It gives it a nice stretch and enough so you won't have to roll anything. XIEmperorIX 06-07-2009, 08:25 PM haha looks like you started a trend :) I'm still debating on what wheel setup I want when I can get my rims but your old one sounds perfect to me so far..but it won't be grids or rotas I can say that much :) I also won't be as low..even if I do decide to go the coilover route.... |
