I'm looking to replace the oil and spark plugs. I want suggestion on spark plugs and oil. Man and I thought I was def DeiselFuel2o2 06-02-2009, 11:49 PM Come on man. All you have to do is hit the search button to find your answer. NGK iridium plugs with a .44 gap Royal Purple, Amsoil, Penzoil Platinum, Mobile 1 He gave you the cheapest most preventative parts for our engine. PCV valve, and airfilter will be a better investment than getting "higher" quality oils or plugs than the Toyota OEM parts. Run Redline, BG syncro, or any kind of synthetic Gear oil (for manual trans only) Run STOCK radiator fluid, any other kind will harm your engine unless you mix it 100% right. Run BG 44k every 6k in your fuel tank. They claim 3k but thats just for money ;) Hope this helps. HeathenBrewing 06-03-2009, 03:50 AM Im replacing the spark plugs and oil? Any suggestion? im looking for top quality stuff to take care of my engine. I run NGK copper exclusively. Since I put in new ones yearly, I have no need for iridium as they are for longevity only and do not increase horsepower or MPG regardless of what soooo many others want to believe. UOAs have shown Pennzoil Platnium to be the best oil in our motors along w/ the 90915-YZZF1 filter. It is longer than stock (all other specas are the same though) and that = more filter area and extra oil capacity. Ghost05 06-12-2009, 02:26 AM Yes. Check out my profile I have a few mods. Nothing is wrong with OEM parts. They just aren't made for increased performace. bB384 06-12-2009, 10:45 AM I use Castrol Syntec 5W-30, K&N Oil Filter, Denso Iridium's (P/N 90080-91184 or SK16R11) BTW Next time use a search before you ask questions. Ghost05 06-12-2009, 10:52 AM I know/ use the search engine. But you know the search is a piece of crap. Your better off. Going page by page to find your answer. Thanks for the recommendations. bB384 06-12-2009, 10:54 AM Yeah, but creating this thread just added to the same problem you expirenced when you tried the search. Ghost05 06-12-2009, 10:57 AM Lol. You have a good point. I will talk to Kanchi. Super Mod. And see if he can fix that. |
