Greetings,
Just wanted to officially introduce myself.
My name is Kris and I am one of the first to own in an xB in Canada.
I come from a Mazda backdground (previous cars include a 97 Protege, 90 626 and a 91 Escort GT (has the Protege 1.8BP motor)).
My Protege was built up into quite the show car. Pics can be seen at http://www.sounddomain.com/id/kdawgone . The in December. I decided for it was time for something new! My first choice was always an xB. No Toyota's here would jump through the hoops to get my xB so I went with choice 2, a 2005 Mazda3.
Then, just last week, I saw a Thundercloud xB advertised in the Auto Trader. I called only to find out they also had a PW one too! It was a sign from heaven. IMO, all cars look best in white so I knew I had to get out of my deal from Mazda. After lengthy battle with Mazda, they let me out of the deal and I purchsed my 2005 Polar White xB! Within minutes of getting the good news, I was on the phone to my buddy Dino Rosi, Jr. from Vibrant Performance (www.vibrantpower.com ) and the first thing out of his mouth was, 'Get down here! We need to jig up a cat-back and header for the xB!'
So, there we go, sponsor #1!
Anyhow, my xB did come with a few mods like the black TYC tails, springs (not sure of kind..been to cold to look but was told they were the TRD's from the dealer), 18" Chrome SenDel S25 rims and a some kind of exhaust (again, i was told Blitz, but its too cold to go and check) which will be getting replaced with the aformentioned Vibrant cat-back.
Future mods include air bagas, custom 'SCION XB' or 'XB' liscense plates, and a complete ICE set up.
I also plan on staring the Scion Club of Canada (aka, 'SCION NORTH')
Heres some pics for now:

Not sure if you play hockey or have some hockey buddies but you can fit a load of hockey bags for that small of trunk. Me and my buddy have huge Graf bags and two of them will fit no problem! I was amazed at the space as i believe everyone else is
