this is what a fuse tap looks like
you can tap into your fuse block with a fuse tap and a standard connecter

Alright, I was probably going to look there.

My next question is, how do I make the circuit if I'm wiring them to a switch?

Power and Ground for

the fuse,
1 switch,
4 lights.

power is at the fuse tap...and ground will be found in all the usual places,,there is a piece of metal behind the little cup thing above the glovebox..pull that out and you can ground onto that metal piece

Okay. So I run a wire from the fuse to the switch and attach the lights somewhere along the way?

you have to have a complete circut

put your switch somewhere in that circut...to control power to the circut
it's not rocket science
y6ou do still have my number..if you need to
just give a call

I'd be happy to help

I know I need a circuit, I'm just not sure how to make a circuit if only one wire leaves the fuse box.

BTW, Radio Shack does not have fuse taps, at least the local one.

They have a drawer of "fuse holders", but none looked like that giant pic in the first post.

It was probably out of stock.

The guy was also kind of a D-bag, but that's to be expected.

print out the picture...the link I put up for radio shake was for blade fuses..the mini fuses are pretty much the same

use the wire from the fuse box to bring power to whatever circur yout making..and...ground in the most convienient spot for your applicaation

I just wired up an AC inverter to mine..and mounted it where the ash tray used to be

Cool. I've tapped into a lot of fuse circuits, and didn't know about fuse taps. You only need switches if you want switched circuits.
