OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD....
STEEL WHEELS ARE NOT BLACK RIMS!
PUT YOUR CAPS BACK ON! GEESH!

Actually Han was explaining to Luke that he should keep his OEM repulsorlift covers on until he had some money for aftermarket repulsorlifts.

lol, i think the black steel flows better with the car then the cheap silver plastic. but hey, keep your panties in a bunch about it.

My bared, gunmetal-colored 16x6.5" steelies epitomize "uncool"

That's cool. It would be a clean and inexpensive idea to have some steelies with outer chrome inserts on during winters out in the midwest. I might try this out.

well...i technically rock them capped, but i like em bare. dad threw the caps back on cause he thought bare steelies were ugly....:sigh: oh well

The car sported the wheel covers for a short period, I took them off and like the look even better... I will either toss them in the trash or donate them to good will. Why doesn't TRD make 16" in Black?

Nah, white on white looks awesome on boxes. I went with black because I'm trying to do black and red. I have the covers, windows, tails, side markers all tinted, and I'm adding red to the inside including red led pedals, red accent lighting, and am looking for a nice red shift knob. I'm thinking about doing red waterfall panel like another SL member but haven't been brave enough to tear it out. Afraid I might brake a bracket.

Wow, my quality of writing and thought really go down hill the longer I'm awake. Sorry for getting off track with that post - white covers on a white box looks great, go for it.

Do you know where I can get some trim rings inexpensively? I looked on eBay and its 80 bucks, seems kinda pricey for what they are...
