Custom Five Axis Kit Exhaust
Hey, i was thinking about getting a custom dual exhaust with dual tips, like in this picture:
How much do you think it would cost? I am thinking just a straight pipe axle-back like the borla kit, but the borla kit + new tips would add up to about $450. I dont wanna spend that much.
Any feedback would be awesome!

It's difficult to estimate a price for an axle back exhaust (I'm assuming it's an axle back) like the above picture.
It's dependent on if you want chrome tips, polished stainelss, if everything's mandrel bent, etc.
But all in all, with stainless tips, I'd estimate around about $350. But that's rough. I recommend hitting up an exhaust shop. :D
BTW, the Borla kit looks reeeeeally nice. I was debating that kit, but I doubt i will. I'm planning on having a ton of stuff packed up where that system tucks.

Thanks, yeah, if it would be that much, plus the time to take it in and have it done, i might just get the borla kit with new tips.
Also, i was just going to get bolt-on tips after i cut off the ones that come with the setup, and use self-tapping screws to attach it to the pipe. Is there anything wrong with this? I know the weld-on tips are better to use, but my welding skills are pretty pathetic, and it would be extra hassle.
Is there any really important reason to use one type over the other?

I have a few ideas but i cant show anyone....hehe. I have to get the parts first...
Im sure a good exhaust place could make an exhaust for about 150(axel back. now the tips are a different story. they can be $$

I know I have seen that style dual exhaust tip in a production exhaust, just cant remember who makes it.

JEGS sells a variety of nice weld-on Magnaflow dual tips that are good quality and fairly priced:
