I'm really confused. I think you need to start from the beginning.

Your car won't start... so you think it is your fuel pump not kicking in? How did you come to that conclusion?

And how did your airbag light wires get cut off?

WTH is going on over there?

Ok well i was installin some new seats an u know how theres the wired to connect the airbags? well my friend cut them off cause he said that they look stupid caus e u would always be able to see them with my old seats.

So befor that my car would start fine and now it wont start at all.

In the manual it states that the fuel pump turns off if in a ccident and i was thinking since they were cut the car thinks it was in a accident. and now even when i spliced the wires back it still wont start

Have you tried resetting the ECU?

Taking the battery post terminals off for a minimum of 3 minutes and putting them back on.

lol, why would you let your friend cut random wires....

Seriously though maybe try using electrical tape and wrap them together....

What does your friend drive ? you just let your friend CUT wires on YOUR car ? those seats better be worth all this, what are they anyway ? As far as the car not turning on try putting the old seats in reset it and then try to start it. I have never heard of this though.

Exactly what he said. Put back in the old seats and plug back up the harnesses and hope it works and the airbag doesn't pop out and kill you. Your friend shouldn't be working on a car; cutting plugs off harnesses makes it damn near impossible to return to stock.

Dear god.......what is wrong with people.......agreed go kick him in the ***** multiple times......a rule to live by.........never cut wires.......never cut wires used to operate safty equipment in a car.........never let friends cut wires in your car.......go under the hood and pull you r fuses one at a time and find the blown one.......

how do you know your fuel pump is working, can you hear it pumping??????

now go kick your friend again..........any wires under the seats can be tucked under the seat and unseen 100%........goodness not sure why it is so hard for some people......go kick your friend again.

Good luck.

Seriously though if you turn the car to ignition you should hear the fuel pump pressurize the system. If you don't hear it or can't tell then look under your hood and undo the fuel line, its easy to do, and that will let you know if any fuel is in the system. Tell a buddy to turn the car to ignition on with the fuel line undone and if you don't see any fuel then the fuel pump fuse or relay is bad. I think its a fuse though if i'm not mistaken but I could be.

do you have a voltage tester.......you need to unplug the power from the pump and see if you have power to it,then check to see if you have power to the coils, then check to see if the injectors are opening and closing.......the fuse or relays for any of these things are able to make it not work.

you shoudlnt hear your fuel pump when you crank it anyways.
put the key in and turn to the acc. postition, you should hear the fuel pump buzz very briefly.

did you check all the fuses in the kick panel as well? thats where alot them are for fuel. i had a problem once before and it turned out one of the fuses was just loose.
