so im finally installing my turbo next saturday. this was originally garage1317 kit. for the people who have seen it know that this turbo kit is pretty INTENSE. i will be getting help from my friends and jsg93085 here on SL. hopefully he can teach me a few things and help me get this bad boy on. so i took a few pictures of the set up. i will be running a greddy ultimate with pnp harness. and feel free to ask any questions.

May i note this is a top mount turbo setup very simlar to mine! very very nice..
I see ur kami bumper fits like but whole just like mine did!

thanks everyone.. and elevation tc this is a Front mount turbo set up. and as for the kami kit, it only looks off in the picture because i hit my lil hit going up to my garage, but with a simple press of my finger it all pops back in lol. cant wait, only 6 days now.. also anyone recommend any type of oil i should use? and what weight? (note that this time of year AZ will go up to temp over 100 degrees)

get some 10w40 for summer, im going to swap that in mine as soon as i get the chance to. get some mobil 1 high performance and a stock oil filter.

noob with a bad ___ turbo set up FTW !! nice looking kit man. I have a question bout the QTP cut out if anyone wants to answer it. If you have it off your Spipe with a 2.5 dp/s pipe when you have it open will it change the tune ? I was thinking of doing this as an alternative to 3 in exhaust. I figured itd be better and all my friends have them on their GTO/ Vipers and Corvettes so they are down to do an install. just curious cause if it wont and it will just make more power Ill just weld one on before throwing my kit on.

 

it might make you turbo car run leaner.. not sure by how much but depends on the setup... if you have a rich tune you will be good.. if you have a semi lean tune you might need to add fuel
