Brand new for $700! b52hDUNN 06-21-2009, 07:44 PM what do mean by just the blower part? need pics StreetStarsTc 06-21-2009, 07:54 PM http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/scion-tc-trd-supercharger_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c66Q3a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1171Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem4a98697ff1QQitemZ320384630769QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ebayphotohosting here is an example COMES WITH THE SHAFT! b52hDUNN 06-21-2009, 08:18 PM so its just the blower but comes with the shaft. thats confusing. Do you have a pic of what you are selling? StreetStarsTc 06-21-2009, 10:30 PM i'll have a picture up shortly game-over 06-22-2009, 03:03 AM the unit in that link is not new just re-worked. StreetStarsTc 06-22-2009, 03:10 AM thats not my actual listing just a picture of the blower i wanted to show tavarish 06-22-2009, 05:48 PM here's an example of what it is: http://i20.ebayimg.com/05/i/001/47/6e/5933_1.JPG http://i16.ebayimg.com/01/i/001/47/6e/4cc3_1.JPG Brand new, with possible minor cosmetic imperfections. This is not the exact one I'm selling, as I'm having difficulty getting pictures as of now. Item is at a warehouse, they ship from there. Prices will be $650 shipped in the continental 48 states. These are brand new, never installed Vortech TRD Superchargers for the Scion 2.4L TC. Sale includes blower and shaft. StreetStarsTc 06-23-2009, 04:49 AM ^thats my friend he posted the pics for me under his screen name and those are the pricing listed there. i wouldn't know what else is needed to finish the supercharger kit where its injectors, pulleys, belts or intake box but i believe the tune is from TRD for this no? tavarish 06-23-2009, 05:06 PM The only thing that you'd need is the pulley, belt, a bracket for the driver's side of the engine, upper rad hose, SC oil lines, and airbox. To be honest, if you piece out the kit and add a cold air intake, a u-bend-it rad hose, and get some ebay hose clamps, you could get everything needed for less than 1000, and have the potential for more than 250whp. here's a pic of everything: http://www.superchargersonline.com/images/productimages/scion_tc_sc.jpg All you would need is maybe an S-AFC for fuel corrections, as you wouldn't run out of flow on the stock injectors at such a power level. rosedaleny806 06-23-2009, 05:24 PM u would need injectors, reflashed ECU, Pulleys belts, brackets. intake box(or custom one) rad hoses etc. idk bout acheiving 250 whp u would need more then stock pulleys and a different engine managment for that u would definatly be over 1000 dollars for that and even then ur lucky to be around 225/230 tavarish 06-23-2009, 05:39 PM u would need injectors, reflashed ECU, Pulleys belts, brackets. intake box(or custom one) rad hoses etc. idk bout acheiving 250 whp u would need more then stock pulleys and a different engine managment for that u would definatly be over 1000 dollars for that and even then ur lucky to be around 225/230 Your stock injectors would be fine, you can replace reflashed ECU for SAFC (can be found for $50-200). You'd need the pulleys, belts, and brackets, and you can get a u bend it rad hose from autozone for cheap, and a cold air intake from ebay, or just make your own piping, it's easy enough. You could keep this within a reasonable budget and make some considerable power gains. If you choose to go with a more serious fuel setup, injectors and pump aren't that expensive. rosedaleny806 06-23-2009, 05:45 PM nah seems like this can be a good start fro sum1 wanting to go supercharged. and u can fab up alot of the stuff too, hell even get parts piece by piece not have to rushinto things tcrs2424 06-23-2009, 09:45 PM You said these are legit Vortec blowers? If so, then I would probably pick one up for 650. I'm going to vegas this weekend, if I hit it big, ill be ordering one. rosedaleny806 06-24-2009, 08:31 AM yeah made by TRD so it genuine Vortec tavarish 06-24-2009, 06:08 PM Yes, brand new, never used TRD/Vortech Blowers. $650 shipped to your door. You can reach me on AIM, tavarish8712 or email: tavarish8712@hotmail.com huslindan 06-24-2009, 06:21 PM what years ? b52hDUNN 06-24-2009, 11:06 PM Making a complete supercharger kit would be very difficult and expensive. There are tons of parts! So where are you getting all these superchargers from to be brand new? I hope that you are not planning on buying them off of ebay and trying to sell for profit. I already have a s/c but I would buy the s/c parts you have for 300 for some spare parts! tavarish 06-26-2009, 02:39 AM Making a complete supercharger kit would be very difficult and expensive. I already have a s/c but I would buy the s/c parts you have for 300 for some spare parts! I outlined what would be needed for a complete install, there's even a picture above with al the parts. You could substitute a lot of those for cheaper versions (such as a generic CAI and oil lines), and they would work just as well or better than the OEM stuff. It wouldn't be that expensive at all since the most expensive part would be spoken for. I'm not getting these on ebay, I have access to a supplier that doesn't advertise online, and I wanted to know if there's any demand out there for these units. If you want a blower for 300, I'm sure you could find a used one that needs a rebuild on ebay for that price. The price is 650 shipped, dropped from 700. These are legit units, and should be regarded as such. -Freddy gompka 06-26-2009, 04:32 PM Making a complete supercharger kit would be very difficult and expensive. There are tons of parts! They are all tailored to the s/c, the screws, brackets, you NEED injectors stock won't work, also need the trd reflash or engine management. Your selling the s/c thats fine, but saying the rest of the parts are "cheap" to get is very wrong, they are expensive and a PITA. StreetStarsTc 06-26-2009, 07:57 PM compared to going turbo versus sc, the supplementary pieces you need to complete the SC is NOTHING. its just a few things. for that price and for "reliability" i'd definitely go supercharged. gompka 06-27-2009, 02:50 AM compared to going turbo versus sc, the supplementary pieces you need to complete the SC is NOTHING. its just a few things. for that price and for "reliability" i'd definitely go supercharged. i'm not gonna get into this after this post, but if you think the s/c is reliable you need to go get your head checked. StreetStarsTc 06-27-2009, 03:55 AM why don't you come check my head for me? huslindan 06-27-2009, 06:48 AM y are you trying to sell these i thought you where trying to sell your car ? tavarish 06-27-2009, 07:58 PM This isn't a part out. It's an inventory of new superchargers. Let's keep this on topic. Thanks. b52hDUNN 06-27-2009, 08:05 PM This isn't a part out. It's an inventory of new superchargers. Let's keep this on topic. Thanks. New superchargers don't come in pieces. tavarish 06-29-2009, 01:55 AM This isn't a part out. It's an inventory of new superchargers. Let's keep this on topic. Thanks. New superchargers don't come in pieces. It's not the supercharger KIT. It is the blower itself, with the rod. These parts are brand new, not used at all. Don't clutter up the thread. Thanks. gwtc 04-19-2010, 06:00 PM This thread is pointless, you want people to send you $650 when you have not posted pictures, we have no idea where these are coming from and you want us just to believe its a genuine Vortec TRD blower? what year shaft is it? pictures would clear that up, you say you have access to a couple? lets see pics of these laid out next to each other, something is fishy here if you ask me. Good luck and like someone already said, there are tons of parts you need to make a complete kit and trying to put one together at this point would be nearly impossible since parts are hard to come by now and days. |
