i'm on 18x7.5 +47 offset ce28's and dropped on htechs. what size spacers should i get for a more flush look without rubbing issues?

 

what size/spec tires do you have?

i had 18x7.5 et33 LE28Ns (which is a CE28N with a polished lip). i also had a 5mm spacer in the rear. no rubbing at all. i was on 225/40 Toyo Proxes 4s. i was running 1 finger gap in front, 1.5 finger gap in back on tein coilovers.

 

tires are falken ziex 912 225/40/18

 

HK: looks very clean.

anyone know if spacers affect tire wear, alignment, or gas mileage? i just want to do it right. thanks.

 

why would it affect gas mileage?

 

^i don't know, sounds stupid but i heard some rumor that it does.

 

what kind of spacer do you gies recommend using on the stock tires.....or so i say stock rims..wanna make it look nicer

 

H&R 20mm front and rear

 

they go right on.....do i need anything special

 

they come with new studs that youd have to replace the factory studs with them

would i have to get new lug nuts? I've got a set of Rays shorts right now...

 

Ichiba spacers are the best way to go...you can prolly get a set off ebay. Im running 25mm in the front and rear. 18x.7.5 with 42 offset....very flush with the fender, but you WILL rub...even after rolling the fender, the back piece still touches sightly. And im runnin Falken 912s also...looks nice, but go with the 20mm spacers save ur self some trouble.

Those are the ones you would want...you wont need new studs or lugs

 

those are tricky tho because you have to make sure that y ou have clearance on the wheels for the bolts.

my old volks didnt have the clearance so i couldnt run those.

your best bet would be to get the H&R spacers and replace the studs, you can still use your exsisting lugs no problem

 

i vote for 15mm spacers - 20's are huge and dont look so nice thru your rims..

 

rays lugs are fine - everyone i know who has spacers has H&R and they just got them with the stud extensions so they were fine.

the lugs dont matter when it comes to the spacers, you need extended STUDS not lugs lol
