RoboCop 06-26-2009, 04:09 PM A good wash, clay bar, and wax always makes things look good. Then I take off the rims and clean those all the way and shine them up.
Looks good.

Dakine 06-26-2009, 08:59 PM nice man, u should definately swap those turn signals for some chromed amber bulbs.

juzlookzfazt 06-27-2009, 01:58 AM I was doing the same yesterday until I stepped on the hose nozzle and all the soap suds started to dry on my car LOL! I had just finished claying the car then that happened. Well anyway, nice ride! Did you buy those eyelids pre-painted or unpainted? What kind are they?
testa422 06-27-2009, 02:58 AM those are the NIA eyelids...color matched and they look awesome thx for all the positive comments

scuds03 06-27-2009, 09:31 PM Why does the gas cap door look funny / wrong color?
Chrisb319 06-28-2009, 05:49 AM Why does the gas cap door look funny / wrong color?
carbon fiber gas cap maybe?

wrong
1. wash
2. clay
3. prep, swirl remover
4. polish
5. wax
6. enjoy
six simple steps to make your ride nice and smooth like butter. Claying and waxing alone does not do the job.
10gxiong 06-28-2009, 06:44 AM wow... looking clean after the wax :)

carbon fiber gas cap maybe?
Oh. Does it make the car lighter?
AcidDrop 06-28-2009, 12:04 PM ^because when the sun hits the CF it gives it a brownish type of color, btw car looks good and are those the NIA fiberglass eyelids?
testa422 06-28-2009, 12:46 PM yea those are NIA eyelids and yea scuds, the carbon fiber gas cap makes me 175lbs lighter
scuds03 06-28-2009, 09:13 PM I cant afford carbon fiber. How much weight will I shed off if it take the gas lidd off completely? 190-200lbs?
juzlookzfazt 06-28-2009, 10:04 PM I cant afford carbon fiber. How much weight will I shed off if it take the gas lidd off completely? 190-200lbs?
That should give you about 10 horsepowers to the rear wheels.
tC_B0y_Rs4 06-29-2009, 12:01 AM You better get a super spoiler to keep your ___-end on the ground if you use a carbon fiber gas cap! Anything over 50 mph and the car can flip right over! haha
testa422 06-29-2009, 01:22 AM if youre trying to make fun of it, just say so cause youre stupid jokes arent too funny so you can take your ____ elsewhere

So if I get one my car will be 175lb lighter and have 160fwhp and 10rwhp. How much faster would that make my quarter mile? How much rwhp and saved weight would carbon fiber emblems give me?
Is the carbon fiber gas lid help my gas mileage too? Is the carbon more aero dynamic?

Yeah that's the extreme detailing order I do every few weeks. Most of the time I skip steps #2 and #3 unless running a hand of the wet surface feels rough. I need get a claybar for my tC and give it a once over soon.
