I hope this has nothing to do with the Borla exhaust I just had put on a few weeks ago! This stinks.

I had that problem when i put my typhoon intake on and even after resettin the ECU several times the only way to get it to turn off was to go back to stock on it. I hope resettin the ecu fixes it for ya it sucks goin back to stock :eyebrow:

I think it might be something else because the exhaust has been on for about 3 weeks. Second, what does the VSC and traction control have to do with exhaust? Last, the exhaust goes on AFTER the O2 sensor so there are no other sensors beyond that point. Frustrated.

Assuming the Borla exhaust is an axle back it probably isn't the problem. Just check to see if its bolted on tightly enough. After a few weeks it might have loosened. I've had the Borla for close to a year and no problems with it at all. The VSC and TRACK OFF lights unfortunately seem to be linked to all sorts of things. People have had them go off for reasons ranging from a defective ABS actuator to a problem with the MAF sensor. Because your check engine light is also on means you might be able to see what the problem is with a OBDII tool. They are very useful to have and can be bought for like $100 an Pep Boys. The only problem is that many Toyota specific codes aren't on the inexpensive ones.

I had the same problem, but mine was caused by typhoon intake. What was happening was the MAF was dirty. Now this may not be the cause of yours. Those lights will come on for all sorts of reasons. Best thing to do is bring it in and find out what the problem is. Most likely it is something that is loose.

just go to the dealership to get it fixed. i had the exact same problem, and they fixed it with no cost.

this has came up before. one has been a knock (?) censor and the other a MAF Sensor from installing the intake wrong or loose. check everything to make sure there are no leaks, reset the ecu and see what happens. if all else fails then take it to the dealer

here is how to reset the ecu

Been there, done that.....IT is a BUG in the system..I was riding one day and BAM, the same lights came on. Went to the dealer right away...He tried to tell me that the gas cap was not on "properly" .. :blah: yeah, right, I said.." last time I put gas , was a week ago!..All they did was "RESET" the "Computer" and all the lights went off....There was nothing wrong with anything...
