If its vinyl, peel it off. Any residue leftover can be removed w/ 3M adhesive remover or Goo Gone.

I just took it to the dealer and told them to take off their logo from my new car...

they took it off and even washed my car for me....

The BEST thing you can do is tell them from the beginning that you do not want any stickers or advertisements added. But if they are already on there have them take them off as said, that way they will be responsible if anything goes wrong with the removal. Dealer stickers are so tackey.

I go with jethro's method with a twist.

If there is not one:
Offer to let them put on on if they include a cost of advertising credit on the final paperwork for the car purchase in the amount of $300 for one year.

If there is one:
Tell them to take it off or you will hand write the $300 advertising charge on the contract before you sign it.

Have yet to have a dealer that wanted his ugly sticker on my car that badly. :money:

Most are pretty decent about it in practice.
Could be worse. Years ago they used to be cast pieces that required drilling holes in your car to install the dealer info. :tap:
