Life of a supercharger- not the sc'ed engine

I've read some info about superchargers (in particular, the info on TRD's website) and they claim that, properly maintained, a supercharger will not reduce engine life. That leaves me with the question of, well how long is the supercharger supposed to last? I came across a few aftermarket supercharger producer's websites that claim their chargers will last for "100,000 miles."
Given that I drive around 25 or 30k miles a year (lots of driving for work,) if that's how long the TRD superchargers last, that's not going to be acceptable for me
Whenever I get a new vehicle, I want it to last for a long time- heck, my father in law has a corolla with 277k on it o_0 And yes, it still runs, it just isn't worth anything anymore hehe.
Anyone here who knows more about superchargers, or better yet, owns or has owned a vehicle with one who can answer my question?

from what i know, it should last as long as the motor in the car...
if you mess with it and try to get more power from it, the life will not be as long.
it also depends on what type of supercharger...and the installation method...

Well that's reassuring.
The weird thing is, you can google "Supercharger life" and come up with some sites that claim 100,000 miles- perhaps they just mean before it needs to be serviced?
With a lot of vehicles coming already supercharged though (cobalt, ion redline) it didn't make much sense to me that the charger would have such a short life anyway- then again, a lot of people don't put that many miles on their car before getting rid of it

also the kits you are looking at are not TRD. If you want to know the life of the TRD supercharger go to http://www.trdusa.com or call your toyota dealer and ask them.
If it's a TRD supercharger, it ought to last the life of the engine.
A quote from www.trdusa.com:
"Boost the performance of your Toyota without compromising your budget or vehicle warranty, with a TRD Supercharger."
So yeah. Glad to hear it, since I'm planning on getting the TRD, and I'm already paying for a six-year warranty on my car!
