I've read some info about superchargers (in particular, the info on TRD's website) and they claim that, properly maintained, a supercharger will not reduce engine life. That leaves me with the question of, well how long is the supercharger supposed to last? I came across a few aftermarket supercharger producer's websites that claim their chargers will last for "100,000 miles."
Given that I drive around 25 or 30k miles a year (lots of driving for work,) if that's how long the TRD superchargers last, that's not going to be acceptable for me :eyebrow: Whenever I get a new vehicle, I want it to last for a long time- heck, my father in law has a corolla with 277k on it o_0 And yes, it still runs, it just isn't worth anything anymore hehe.
Anyone here who knows more about superchargers, or better yet, owns or has owned a vehicle with one who can answer my question?
