ok have had the worst time of my life for 2 weeks trying to get this spoiler on its oem. i scratched it up a bit and have holes drilled into my hatch but the screws in spoiler brok fiogures right. well so i need someone who can get it on there i dont care how as long as its sturdy and wont fall off and doesnt look like poop when its on! if someone can help me out i can go over or you can come here or we can meet half way or whatever i need this thing on i think my only option is gonna have to be top holes

I've put on a bunch of spoilers. If you KNOW what your doing and can follow a template then there is no regrets to drilling anything. And if you can't figure out how to make a template, then take it to someone that does.

As far as 3M tape is concerned, talk to dirty sanchez from SA, someone un-3M'd his spoiler off his XB.

No need to drill holes..I had a FAB wing on my 04 xB and it said to use 3m tape in the install instructions..used it and its still on the xB after 3 years !!!

 

Yeah Brad it just don't work that way out here. With the astronomical amount of meth heads and theives galore coupled with the invention of Ebay and Craigslist I wouldn't trust any aftermarket wing to 3M. It's not that I doubt it's gonna stay stuck on but unless you watch your box like a hawk where ever you go, it's liable to get swiped.

 

in phoenix it's even easier to rip off the spoiler in the summer time baking in the sun on the hot 110+ days.
