I'm happy with the final results. It took 2 1/2 weeks longer than I planned for though.

I like it.
I think you should leave the headlights and tail lights the way they are, they add a nice contrast.

Thanks steve, i couldnt' get the blue to shade evenly, tried everything. So i did black over it, probably gonna Patina it later, have the blue under show through in spots.

The lights aren't bugging me like they were earlier today, we'll see what happens in that department. gotta get back into suspension mode for awhile.

looks cool! Did you just roll it on?

I'm interested in doing this to my Geo Metro but don't want to put a whole lot of prep work into it, if you catch my drift. I'm hoping it is possible to pressure wash the car and then paint on it (there is NO wax and the paint is as dull as can be now)

I sanded off the clearcoat, blew off the dust with air, then wiped it down good with solvent and lint free rags.

yeah, rollers (big size and small size), and some foam brushes for hard to reach spots. I sprayed the jambs and under the hood and hatch.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I first went with the blue, but couldn't turn back once i started. It's gonna get a bit of a makeover in the somewhat near future.
